Hills & Dales Respiratory Illness Update

The following is an update from Hills and Dales Healthcare as 11/15/2022 at 10:45 AM

In the last 24 hours, our ED saw 19 patients and our afterhours clinic saw 21 patients many who are suffering from RSV and other similar virus infections.

We will continue to update you with information as we monitor the status of Hills & Dales, and state wide trends.

As mentioned in yesterday’s post, we were going to explain more in depth some of the ways to help prevent respiratory illnesses. One of the best ways to prevent this is to receive your flu vaccine every year. The flu vaccine is very important for several reasons:

  1. It can keep you from getting sick with the flu.
  2. It reduces your severity of the illness.
  3. It reduces the risk you a hospitalization due to the flu.
  4. It can help protect individuals around who may not be able to receive the vaccine.
